A total of 84 Kapampangans suffering from various illnesses received P3.5 million in medical assistance from Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on Monday, June 22.
Among the beneficiaries was Wilma Concepcion, who received P160,000 in assistance for the purchase of a hearing aid for her child, who was born with a hearing disability.

Concepcion said the device costs around P500,000 and that despite seeking help from various sources, she was unable to raise the full amount needed. She expressed gratitude to the provincial government for providing the remaining funds required for her child’s treatment.
The medical assistance forms part of the provincial government’s continuing support program for Kapampangans facing health-related challenges.
