Around 850 residents of Moncada received financial assistance under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program to help cover medical and burial expenses.

The payout was made possible through the joint efforts of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Provincial Government of Tarlac, and the local government of Moncada led by Ramon Benito Aquino.

Local officials said the initiative aims to provide timely support to residents facing urgent financial needs, particularly during times of crisis.

The program forms part of the continuing efforts of the government to extend assistance and social protection services to Tarlaqueños in need.
