Angeles City strengthens disaster readiness through ICS training

Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II joined the Executive Course on Incident Command System (ICS) Training organized by the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) in Angeles City.

The training aims to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of local officials and government agencies in managing emergencies and disasters through a structured system of command, control, and coordination.

Department heads and representatives from various city offices also participated, highlighting strong inter-agency cooperation to ensure more effective response during incidents and emergencies.

Under Lazatin’s leadership, the city continues to strengthen programs that promote preparedness, resilience, and the safety of every Angeleño.

The initiative underscores Angeles City’s commitment to building a safer and more disaster-ready community through continuous training and coordination among its frontline responders.
