DTI Tarlac launches ‘Negosyo Serbisyo Sa Barangay’ in Camiling, Tarlac

The Department of Trade and Industry Tarlac Provincial Office and Negosyo Center Camiling, in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Camiling and Barangay Development Council of Lasong, launched the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) at Camiling Day Care Center on May 30, 2022

The LSP-NSB is a program of DTI that allows a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units (LGUs).  It aims to increase the awareness of barangay officials about the services offered by DTI through the Negosyo Centers.

It assists established microenterprises that are located in priority barangays in least developed areas to grow their business through the conduct of entrepreneurship and disaster resilience activities including provision of business kits.

Sari-sari stores from Brgy. Lasong were initially evaluated by DTI and five (5) were selected as recipients of the kits.

To the beneficiaries, Mayor Erlon Agustin said, “This program of DTI is very much favorable.  You were chosen because they saw your potential and with that we look forward to the growth of your business.”

DTI Tarlac through the Negosyo Center Camiling will regularly monitor and deliver services to the beneficiaries for their business development.
