Over a hundred security agency operators and stakeholders in Central Luzon recently held a general assembly at Widus Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone.
The attendees, who are operations managers and licensees/operators licensed by the PNP-Supervisory Office for Security & Investigative Agencies (SOSIA), tackled the status, issues and challenges of the security industry today.
Of the 123 attendees, seventy three (73) are licensees/operators constituting a majority, all Region III based agencies registered with the PNP-Regional Civil Supervisory Unit 3 (RCSU3) based in Camp Olivas, Pampanga. RCSU 3 is the regional unit of the PNP that supervises and regulates the business operations of private security agencies, training companies, K-9 and the like.
P/Lt. Edwin De Leon (Ret), representing Bong Kim Agency, discussed the status of the security industry in Region 3.
TrustCore Agency’s Atty. Don talked about the PADPAO 3,Inc. by-laws concerning annual election of the Board of Trustees, which has been held in abeyance since 2018.
P/Maj. General Domingo Cabillan (Ret) of PNPA Class 89 and president of Bong Kim Agency also graced the occasion and actively participated in the exchange of ideas and advocacies.
Meanwhile, PADPAO 3, Inc incorporators/hold-over trustees Angelito Macatulad and Juanito Lua, Sr., also shared their views on the state of affairs of the organization.
The stakeholders’ general assembly meeting ended with a firm call to immediately proceed to conduct an election of the seven-member board of directors.
