As Asia’s leading arts hub, Hong Kong hosts some of the most anticipated international events during Super March, with Art Basel Hong Kong taking center stage. This prestigious event showcases a diverse range of artistic practices from around the world.

Among the standout features of this yearโs Art Basel Hong Kong is the participation of the late Pacita Abad, one of the Philippines’ most renowned and beloved artists. Abadโs work, known for its bold use of color and exploration of socio-political themes, will be showcased in the Encounters exhibition. This sector highlights 18 large-scale installations, and Abad’s creations, with their vibrant iconographies and techniques drawn from the Global South, stand as a testament to her lasting legacy. Beyond Art Basel, her works will also be featured at Silverlens and Tina Kim Gallery.
