Kapampangan cuisine took center stage in Milan as part of the celebration of the 127th anniversary of Philippine Independence and the Kalayaan Ball held on June 12 and 14, respectively.

Spearheaded by the Consulate General of the Philippines in Milan, led by Kapampangan Consul General Elmer G Cato, the event brought a taste of Pampanga to Filipinos in Italy — featuring signature dishes lovingly prepared by renowned chefs Cherry Tan and Vince Garcia.

The initiative was made possible through the support of Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, and Vice Governor Delta Pineda, former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
