The Department of Public Works and Highways – Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office has completed the construction of an 860-meter concrete road in Barangay Cangatba, Porac.

Funded under the 2024 national budget at ₱98.9 million, the road project aims to ease access to the Porac Municipal Hall and improve mobility for residents.

District Engineer Gregorio Audea, Jr. highlighted the road’s impact on local safety, convenience, and economic activity, noting it will boost the delivery of goods and services and open opportunities for small businesses in the area.

The initiative forms part of the DPWH’s countryside development efforts to improve access to essential services and stimulate growth in rural communities.
