DOTr Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas inspects the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project at Pacita Station in San Pedro, Laguna.
The DOTr is expediting right-of-way and site acquisition (ROWSA) and construction works, with ROWSA for 19 NSCR South stations targeted for completion by the first quarter of 2026.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has directed the DOTr, led by Secretary Giovanni Lopez, to fast-track the NSCR to provide faster, more reliable transport for commuters.
