DTI-3 brings Government Services, Livelihood Support Closer to Central Luzon Communities

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 3 joined the Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat caravan, a nationwide initiative coinciding with the birthday celebration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., bringing essential services, livelihood grants, and economic opportunities directly to local communities.

In Pampanga, DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon led the distribution of ₱330,000 in livelihood grants to 11 beneficiaries under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), while the Small Business Corporation (SB Corp) released ₱6.4 million in loans to seven borrowers at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando.

In Tarlac, DTI provided frontline services such as business name registration, advisory, and consumer advocacy sessions. SB Corp also released ₱10.9 million in loans to 10 beneficiaries.

In Bulacan, DTI extended business name registration, advisory, and consumer information services, alongside an orientation on BN registration for Mobile Phone and Handheld Gadget Servicing NC III at TESDA Guiguinto, attended by 116 technicians and entrepreneurs. The agency also participated in the Handog ng Pangulo Caravan and Singkaban Trade Fair at the Capitol Compound in Malolos City.

In Zambales, DTI facilitated BN registration and consumer information sessions, while the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair generated ₱45,515 in sales. SB Corp released ₱1.45 million in loans to seven beneficiaries.

In Aurora, DTI and SB Corp awarded ₱3.3 million in loans to five clients and mounted a mini trade fair featuring local MSMEs, including youth entrepreneurs under the Youth Entrepreneurship Program.

In Bataan, a Negosyo Center and SB Corp booth were set up at The Bunker in Balanga City, offering frontline services, business name registration, and loan assistance. The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair generated ₱343,761 in sales, attracting thousands of residents.

In Nueva Ecija, DTI and SB Corp awarded ₱3.5 million in loans to four beneficiaries, led by DTI-3 Assistant Regional Director Dr. Richard V. Simangan. An entrepreneurship seminar for 26 PPG beneficiaries and the turnover of a dairy processing center under the Department of Agrarian Reform’s VLFED project were also conducted. The event was attended by DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla. The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Trade Fair in the province generated ₱98,089 in sales.

Through its participation in the caravan, DTI-3 reinforced its commitment to empowering MSMEs, expanding market access, and supporting local communities with financing, capacity-building, and livelihood opportunities—ensuring that no sector is left behind in the drive for inclusive growth.
