LOOK | Parishioners from the remote Immaculate Conception Quasi-Parish in Brgy. Concepcion, Arteche, Eastern Samar, braved muddy trails and shifting terrain as they carried the “Jubilee Cross” to the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Jipapad on Saturday, 25 October 2025.

About a hundred faithful joined the 5-kilometer pilgrimage, walking from dirt paths to paved roads as part of the cross’s continuing journey across the Diocese of Borongan in celebration of the Jubilee Year 2025.

“Any suffering that is endured in love is worth doing. It is necessary. And any cross that is carried by many becomes less heavy,” shared Fr. Emman Carilla of the quasi-parish.
