Rev. Fr. Agerico “Jerry” M. Orbos, SVD, highlighted the Eighth Day of the Novena Mass in preparation for the Solemnity of the Divine Infant Jesus of Prague on Friday afternoon, January 16, 2026, after delivering the homily and praying over the faithful.

The Novena Mass was held at the Carmelite church in honor of the Divine Infant Jesus of Prague, the titular patron of the Carmel. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Richard T. Escoto, OCD.

Devotees gathered in large numbers as the novena entered its eighth day, with Fr. Orbos emphasizing faith, devotion, and trust in the Divine Infant Jesus during his homily. After the Mass, he led a prayer over the faithful.

The novena runs from January 9 to 17, with Masses scheduled from Monday to Saturday at 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and on Sundays at 6:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 5:30 p.m.

Fiesta Masses for the Solemnity of the Divine Infant Jesus of Prague will be held on Sunday, January 18, at 6:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. A procession will follow after the 5:00 p.m. Mass.

The annual celebration continues to draw devotees who seek blessings and offer prayers to the Divine Infant Jesus of Prague.
