A WALL OF LOVE

The Angeles District Jail – Male Dormitory, headed by JSUPT Voltaire Gerard F. Pace, marked Valentine’s Day on February 15, 2026, through a meaningful activity promoting love, hope, and rehabilitation for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) under the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Angeles City.

As part of the celebration, PDLs were given the opportunity to express heartfelt messages for their families and loved ones through a “Freedom Wall.” Through simple handwritten notes, they were reminded that love remains a powerful source of strength, inspiration, and motivation for positive change.

Jail officials said the activity aimed to reinforce the importance of family, remorse, and hope despite the inmates’ current circumstances.

The activity was supervised by JO1 Eroll S. Bandao and JO1 Jayvee D. Domingo, ensuring the initiative was conducted smoothly and with compassion.

The BJMP emphasized that programs focusing on the emotional and moral development of PDLs remain essential in helping them rebuild their lives and contribute to safer communities.
