Globe opens new service hub in Capas to boost connectivity access

Globe Telecom has expanded its community presence with the opening of a new On-Site Distribution Office (OSDO) in Barangay Cristo Rey, bringing essential telecom and digital services closer to residents.

The facility, established in partnership with Riese Telecommunication Inc., serves as a one-stop hub where customers can apply for home broadband plans, purchase prepaid products, and pay bills without having to travel to nearby towns or city centers.

The move comes amid increasing demand for reliable connectivity in Capas, one of the province’s largest municipalities. Barangay Cristo Rey, its most populous village, is seen as a key service area where internet access is vital for education, remote work, small businesses, and daily communication.

At the new hub, residents can subscribe to Globe’s broadband services, including GFiber and Globe At Home plans, as well as access prepaid offerings from Globe, TM, and GOMO. Bill payments are also made more convenient through ECPay.

Globe Area Business Head Raymond Mancilla said the initiative underscores the company’s commitment to making digital services more accessible at the community level.

The OSDO also strengthens Globe’s customer engagement and service distribution in Tarlac, supporting efforts to expand connectivity and empower more Filipinos through improved access to digital tools.
