Installation of pontoons at the Aquino Bridge in Tarlac City began as part of efforts to provide an alternative route for residents traveling to the western side of the city.

Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap said the initiative is among the local government’s ongoing preparations to ensure safer and more convenient passage for Tarlaqueños.

The pontoon installation is expected to provide an additional means of crossing as authorities continue to address transportation and access concerns in the area.

Yap assured residents that the city government remains focused on implementing measures aimed at improving mobility and keeping the public safe.

The initiative forms part of the city’s continuing efforts to prepare alternative access routes and ensure more orderly movement for residents.
