The Philippine Air Force, in partnership with the Pacific Air Forces, formally concluded Cope Thunder Philippines 26-1 with a Hotwash activity held on April 17, 2026.
The session brought together participating personnel to review the overall conduct of the joint exercise and exchange insights gained from the training.









The activity was led by Angelito R Retuta, Wing Commander of the Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon (TOWNOL), and served as a platform to discuss operational execution, coordination, and best practices observed throughout the exercise.
Participants highlighted key lessons learned across various components of the training, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement and collaboration in future engagements.
The conclusion of Cope Thunder 26-1 underscores the shared commitment of PAF and PACAF to strengthening interoperability and enhancing collective readiness, contributing to sustained cooperation and security across the Indo-Pacific region.
