The Sangguniang Barangay of Pulungbulu, led by Punong Barangay Lorna Zabala, has approved Barangay Resolution No. 07, series of 2026, reallocating funds to support tricycle drivers affected by rising fuel costs.
The resolution authorizes the realignment of a budget originally intended for capacity-building activities, redirecting it instead to a fuel subsidy program for members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA).

Barangay officials said the move was in response to the increasing burden brought by continuous fuel price hikes, which have significantly impacted the livelihood of local drivers.
As part of the initiative, the barangay launched the “SUPORTODA” fuel subsidy assistance program to provide immediate relief to affected TODA members.
The council emphasized its commitment to addressing the concerns of transport workers and delivering timely assistance amid ongoing economic challenges.
