LET’S TALK ART

Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. recently shared his passion for the arts in a conversation with former Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) chairwoman and now ADF-Museum of Philippine Arts and Culture (ADF-MoPAC) chairwoman Andrea Domingo, highlighting his continued support for creative communities.

A known art enthusiast, Lazatin has long advocated for local artists, particularly during his tenure as Angeles City mayor. Under his leadership, the Angeles City Tourism Office mounted free monthly art exhibits featuring Kapampangan talents.

These exhibits were made accessible to the public through partnerships with establishments such as SM City Clark and Marquee Mall, which provided their activity centers at no cost.

Through these initiatives, Lazatin continues to underscore the importance of art in community building and cultural promotion.
