The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Search and Rescue (SAR) Team continued its operations on May 25 in the search for individuals trapped in the collapsed 9-storey hotel under construction in Angeles City.

Rescuers have entered the structure and are currently conducting technical search operations using advanced equipment, including a vibraphone and a life locator, aimed at detecting possible survivors beneath the debris.

MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes earlier said the deployment of the SAR Team to Angeles City was intended to assist ongoing rescue efforts, noting the proximity of Pampanga to Metro Manila and the need for additional technical support in the operation.
