A total of 972 residents of Sto. Tomas expressed gratitude for the “Alagang Nanay” Preventive Health Care Program of the Provincial Government of Pampanga following a medical mission held in the town.
The initiative, led by Governor Lilia Pineda together with 4th District Board Member Dr. Kaye Naguit, provided medical consultations, maintenance medicines, food packs, and transportation assistance to beneficiaries.

One of the beneficiaries, Teresa Gueco of San Matias, shared that she only learned during the check-up that she had gallstones, saying the program helped her understand her condition and prevent complications.
Governor Pineda said the Capitol remains open to residents who need medical and other government assistance, as she emphasized continued access to public health services.

Local officials, including Mayor John Sambo and Councilor Pinky Feliciano-Pangan, expressed support for the program and thanked the provincial government for bringing healthcare services closer to the community.
The medical mission is part of ongoing efforts to deliver preventive healthcare directly to communities across Pampanga.
