Philippine Airlines (PAL) is making domestic travel more accessible with the launch of a 0% credit card installment program for select flight bookings within the Philippines.
The initiative, developed in partnership with major local banks including BPI, Metrobank, and HSBC, allows eligible cardholders to split domestic airfare purchases into three monthly installments at zero interest. The offer applies to transactions with a minimum spend of ₱20,000, giving passengers more flexibility in managing travel expenses.
With popular destinations such as Iloilo, Boracay, and Puerto Princesa continuing to attract strong demand, PAL said the new payment option aims to encourage more Filipinos to plan trips with greater convenience and financial ease.
The installment feature is now available for domestic bookings made through the Philippine Airlines website and mobile app. Passengers may simply select the installment option at checkout and follow a secure payment process.
Philippine National Bank (PNB) is also participating in the program for ticket purchases made through PAL ticketing offices. PNB cardholders may opt for extended installment terms of up to 6 or 12 months for qualified transactions, subject to minimum spend requirements.
PAL said more banking partners are expected to join the program in the coming months, expanding access to flexible payment options for more travelers.
Founded in 1941, Philippine Airlines is the country’s flag carrier and Asia’s first commercial airline, operating flights to domestic and international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
