The Department of Transportation (DOTr) expressed gratitude to the Suburbia North Homeowners Association in San Fernando, Pampanga for its support in the right-of-way and site acquisition activities for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR), one of the flagship infrastructure projects of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

During a meeting led by Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, the agency recognized the cooperation of the association’s officers, including President Elmer Dimarucut, Treasurer Rene Santos, Auditor Virgilio Garcia, Secretary Grace Dino, and Director Arnel Figueroa.

The DOTr also thanked the Provincial Government of Pampanga, led by Governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, as well as the City Government of San Fernando under Mayor Vilma Caluag, for their continued support of the project.

The agency said the right-of-way and site acquisition for the Clark, Pampanga to Malolos, Bulacan segment of the NSCR is expected to reach 100 percent completion within the year.
