Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda inspected the proposed design of the province’s Mobile Pharmacy, an initiative aimed at bringing free medicines and healthcare services closer to communities.
Under the plan, one mobile pharmacy unit will be assigned to each of Pampanga’s four districts to serve barangays across the province. In partnership with the PhilHealth YAKAP sa Gamot Program, the mobile units will provide free medical consultations and medicines for maintenance and common illnesses.
Governor Pineda said the initiative seeks to make healthcare more accessible by allowing residents to receive consultations and medicines in their own communities, eliminating the need to travel to health facilities.
