The Provincial Government of Pampanga distributed ₱86 million in barangay subsidies to village chiefs under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) through the “Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program,” a Presidential Assistance initiative of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan led the turnover of funds to officials from 430 barangays across the province on June 30.

Each barangay received ₱200,000, with ₱100,000 allotted for five college scholars receiving ₱20,000 each, while the remaining ₱100,000 will fund barangay-identified development projects.
The provincial government said 17 barangays have yet to comply with documentary requirements to claim their subsidies. Governor Pineda also assured that all released funds will undergo an audit to ensure they are used for their intended projects and beneficiaries.
