Hann Foundation earns National Honors for CSR programs

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) received national recognition at the 2026 League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) Medal of Recognition, emerging as the winner in the Environment Category and a finalist in the Education Category for its community development initiatives.

HFI earned the Environment award for its Sasmuan Mangrove Conservation and Restoration Project in Pampanga, which restores mangrove ecosystems while promoting coastal resilience, marine biodiversity, and sustainable livelihoods for local fisherfolk through partnerships with government agencies and community stakeholders.

The project includes mangrove seedling nurseries, bamboo dikes, regular planting activities, and the provision of equipment such as drones, ICT tools, and motorized boats to support conservation efforts.

In the Education Category, HFI was recognized as a finalist for its Alternative Learning System (ALS) Center in Sitio Malasa, Bamban, Tarlac, which provides flexible learning opportunities for out-of-school youth and adult learners seeking to complete their basic education.

Foundation Manager Ronnel T. Golimlim said the awards reflect the collective efforts of communities, volunteers, partner organizations, and local government units in creating lasting social impact, while Executive Director Ana Christi Galura thanked the League of Corporate Foundations for recognizing HFI’s initiatives.

The Hann Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of the Hann Group, whose developments include Hann Casino Resort in Clark, Pampanga, and Hann Reserve in New Clark City, Tarlac.
