Boy Scouts bring hope to Bahay Pag-asa youth

Senior Scouts of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines–Angeles City Council donated essential items to the residents of Bahay Pag-asa as part of Project SAUP (Kindness, Hope and Service), an initiative promoting compassion, hope, and community support for children in conflict with the law.

The visit included the turnover of donations, fellowship activities, and a musical performance by the BPA Band to uplift the spirits of the youth under the facility’s care.

Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II thanked the Boy Scouts for their generosity, saying their act of kindness reminds the young residents that they are supported and capable of building a better future.

The visitors were also introduced to Bahay Pag-asa’s comprehensive rehabilitation program by City Social Welfare and Development Officer Francis De Guzman, while City Information Officer Jose Aubrey Pelayo IV represented the mayor during the turnover.

The Angeles City Government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office, expressed its gratitude to the Boy Scouts for helping provide hope, guidance, and opportunities to young Angeleños.
