Cebu Pacific to launch Starlink inflight internet by 2027

Cebu Pacific is set to become the first low-cost airline in Southeast Asia to offer Starlink, SpaceX’s advanced satellite internet service, bringing high-speed, low-latency Wi-Fi to passengers starting in 2027.

The rollout will allow travelers to enjoy HD streaming, online gaming, work, and other online activities while in flight, while also enhancing operational connectivity for flight crews and airline teams.

The initiative is part of Cebu Pacific’s continued investment in customer experience and digital innovation as it expands one of the region’s youngest and largest aircraft fleets.

The airline joins fellow Indigo Partners carriers—Frontier, Wizz Air, Volaris, and JetSMART—in a global deployment that will equip more than 1,000 aircraft with Starlink, marking one of the world’s largest commitments to next-generation inflight connectivity.

Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao said the introduction of Starlink reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering a better travel experience while keeping air travel accessible and affordable for every Juan.
