The Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) ROTC Unit emerged as the top overall performer in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026, earning perfect scores in seven of 10 inspection and competition categories.

PSAU was named Best in Arrival Honors, Ceremonial Parade, Inspection in Ranks, Close Order Drill, Weapons, Map Reading, and Raid and Ambush, highlighting the unit’s discipline, military proficiency, and teamwork.

Plaques of recognition were presented to University President Dr. Anita G. David, Best ROTC Commandant Maj. Rogelio G. Isip, PA (RES), Best ROTC Coordinator Sgt. Argel B. Matutino, PA (RES), and Best NSTP Coordinator John Paul S. Viray during the July 24 awarding ceremony at the 3rd Regional Community Defense Group, Camp General Servillano Aquino, San Miguel, Tarlac.

Meanwhile, C/MAJ John Rub Basilio, 1CL, was recognized as the Top 1 Academic Awardee during the Joint Closing Ceremony of the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 41–42 Class of 2026.

The achievements underscore PSAU’s commitment to developing disciplined, competent, and service-oriented leaders through quality education, strong institutions, and partnerships.
