One Year of Service, More for Every Angeleño

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II underscored the spirit of collective achievement and compassionate public service as he reflected on the city’s accomplishments during his 2026 State of the City Address (SOCA).

Lazatin said the milestones celebrated were not his alone, but a shared victory of the entire Angeles City community, crediting the people of Angeles for their continued trust, cooperation, and participation in the city’s development.

“Ang bawat tagumpay na ating ipinagdiwang ngayon ay hindi lamang tagumpay ng inyong lingkod. Ito ay tagumpay ng buong Angeles City.”

He expressed gratitude to every Angeleño who continues to support the city government’s vision of making Angeles more orderly, safer, cleaner, and more progressive.

Over the past year, the city strengthened its economy, expanded healthcare and education services, pursued environmental protection initiatives, advanced digital transformation, and brought government services closer to communities.

But for Lazatin, the work does not end with the achievements already made. He emphasized that more dreams remain to be fulfilled and more services must be delivered to families across the city.

“Gaya ng aking ipinangako noon at inuulit ko ngayon,” Lazatin said, every decision and program of the city government will continue to be guided by one principle—that the welfare of every Angeleño must always come first.

As the city moves forward, Lazatin reaffirmed his commitment to serve with compassion, integrity, and dedication, while calling on Angeleños to remain united in building a better future for Angeles City.
