Masantol Mayor Dan Guintu led the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) in inspecting evacuation centers across the municipality on August 20 to ensure evacuees continue to receive adequate food, water and other essential support.

The inspection covered evacuation centers from the Right Bank to the Left Bank following relief operations conducted the previous day.

Joining Guintu were Municipal Administrator Atty. Jose Isagani Gonzales, MDRRMO Paul Magat, Councilor Bajun Lacap and personnel from the Office of the Mayor.

The municipal government said it will continue monitoring the situation and providing assistance to affected Masantoleños.
