New Hubs, Better Access
Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has expanded its customer service network in Leyte with the opening of new business centers in Tacloban and Ormoc, its first service hubs in the province.
Through managed service provider Leytenet (Powered by Converge), the new hubs in Barangay 15, Tacloban City, and Barangay Cogon Combado, Ormoc City, will provide subscribers with more accessible channels for subscriptions, bills payment, technical assistance, repairs, plan upgrades, and other service inquiries.
Converge SVP and Consumer Business Group OIC John Paul Aguilar said the new centers support the company’s efforts to serve emerging markets where demand for reliable, high-speed internet continues to grow.
The opening ceremonies were attended by Converge and Leytenet executives, along with Tacloban City Vice Mayor Raymund Vincent Romualdez and Ormoc City Councilor Krizea Cassandra A. Mercadal.
Converge SVP and Head of Enablement Bryan King Kay said the new locations represent a long-term investment in digital inclusion, economic growth, and stronger connectivity across Eastern Visayas.
With Leyte home to more than 1.82 million residents and Tacloban and Ormoc serving as major centers for commerce, education, government, and entrepreneurship, the company said the new hubs will bring customer support and digital solutions closer to communities in the region.
The expansion forms part of Converge’s broader efforts to strengthen its presence in the Visayas and Mindanao and extend reliable connectivity to underserved communities nationwide.
