Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose Aliño visited Lindberg Subic, Inc. along Argonaut Highway, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, as part of the agency’s continuing engagement with locators and investors.
Aliño, accompanied by SBMA Manufacturing and Logistics Manager Karen Magno, was welcomed by Lindberg Plant Manager Giovanni Battista Minerva, who also led the delegation on a tour of the manufacturing facility.
Established in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in 2005, Lindberg Subic is a major manufacturing facility for the Danish luxury eyewear brand LINDBERG, producing high-end titanium and precious metal optical frames for global export.
The company currently employs 665 skilled Filipino workers, contributing significantly to job creation and strengthening Subic’s manufacturing sector. Its operations have also supported ancillary businesses, local spending, and the broader industrial ecosystem of the Freeport.
SBMA said it remains committed to creating a business environment where locators can sustain and expand their operations through reliable infrastructure, streamlined processes, and investor-friendly policies.
The agency added that regular engagement with locators, including leadership visits, strengthens partnerships and supports continued investment, job creation, and sustainable economic growth in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
