Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque personally led the distribution of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) assistance to 6,372 Candaba residents on Saturday.

Provincial and local government personnel from the PDRRMO, PSWDO, and GSO traveled through flooded areas in Barangays Tagulud, Cuayang Bugtong, Mandili, Lourdes, Salapungan, Barangca, Mapaniqui, and Bambang to deliver food packs containing rice, canned goods, and other essential items.

Pineda assured affected residents that the provincial government remains ready to provide assistance amid the flooding.

The relief operation was joined by 4th District Board Member Dra. Kaye Naguit, Vice Mayor Thelma Macapagal, Mayor’s League President Jun Tetangco, and other Candaba officials.
