Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) Special Operation Teams (SOT) on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, stopped a group of minors from Barangay Pandan who were caught fishing and swimming along the Abacan River amid the rainy season.

The minors were safely brought to the barangay hall for appropriate disciplinary action and to ensure that their parents or guardians were informed.

Authorities reminded parents and guardians to prevent children from swimming or playing in rivers during the rainy season, when sudden downpours can quickly raise water levels and create dangerous currents and overflow.
