The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO III), through its Agricultural and Fisheries Logistics Office (AFLO), turned over a solar- and wind-powered modular cold storage facility to the Pindangan 2nd Primary Multipurpose Cooperative in Camiling, Tarlac on August 25, 2026.

The facility was established under the FY 2024 Cold Storage Expansion Program, aimed at reducing postharvest losses, preserving the quality of farm produce, and providing farmers with better storage and marketing options for their products.

The project is expected to help strengthen agricultural logistics and support farmers in improving the handling and marketability of their produce.
