Philippine Airlines (PAL) will increase its Manila-Melbourne service to daily flights starting November 19, 2026, giving travelers more options ahead of the year-end holiday season.
The additional flights will raise PAL’s Melbourne frequency from five times weekly to daily operations, providing greater flexibility for holiday trips, family reunions and business travel.
Under the new schedule, effective November 19, PAL flight PR 209 will depart Manila daily at 8:20 p.m. and arrive in Melbourne at 7:30 a.m. the following day. Return flight PR 210 will leave Melbourne at 9:20 a.m. and arrive in Manila at 2:25 p.m.
| Flight number | Route | Frequency | Departure | Arrival |
| PR 209 | Manila-Melbourne | Daily | 8:20 PM | 7:30 AM (+1 day) |
| PR 210 | Melbourne-Manila | Daily | 9:20 AM | 2:25 PM |
The optimized schedule is also expected to facilitate connections between Melbourne and destinations across PAL’s network. Passengers from Australia will be able to connect through Manila to various points in the Philippines, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
The expanded service will likewise add cargo capacity, supporting Philippine exports and strengthening trade links between the Philippines and Australia.
PAL currently operates the most flights and serves the most destinations connecting the Philippines and Australia, with daily services to Brisbane and Sydney and three weekly flights to Perth.
The daily Melbourne operation comes as PAL marks 55 years of service to the Australian city on September 10, 2026. Since launching the Manila-Melbourne route in 1971, the flag carrier has helped connect communities, travelers and businesses between the Philippines and Australia.
Bookings are available through the PAL website, PAL mobile app, PAL hotline at (+632) 8855 8888, ticketing offices and accredited travel agents.
