The Pampanga provincial government and the Lubao local government continued providing assistance to residents evacuated and rescued amid the threat posed by damage to part of the slope protection and retaining wall of Sto. Cristo Dam.

Vice Gov. Delta Pineda and Mayor Esmie Pineda visited the evacuees on Friday evening to check on their condition.

Each family received food, clothing, towels, medicines, milk and diapers for children, while medical check-ups were also conducted to ensure their health and safety.

Authorities and concerned agencies remain on alert to protect the evacuees and ensure their continued welfare.
