Food packs distributed to families affected by Habagat

The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, continued its relief efforts for families affected by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

Based on the situational analysis of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), food packs were distributed to affected residents in Barangays Sto. Domingo, Sapalibutad and Pandan on August 30.

In Sto. Domingo, four families and two solo-living individuals, or a total of 17 people, received food packs and will remain at the evacuation center.

In Sapalibutad, 87 families and four solo-living individuals, comprising 325 people, received food packs.

Meanwhile, in Pandan, two families with a total of six individuals were provided with food packs and will also stay at the evacuation center.

The city government, through the CSWDO, barangays and other concerned offices, continues to monitor the situation and coordinate relief efforts to ensure that assistance reaches Angeleños affected by the inclement weather.
