6,760 relief packs reach San Simon

Amid continued flooding in San Simon, Pampanga, 6,760 DSWD relief goods were delivered on Tuesday, September 1, for residents affected by the disaster.

Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and 4th District Board Member Kaye Naguit led the turnover of the relief goods to San Simon Acting Mayor Anne Canlas for distribution to affected residents in the following barangays:

📍 Brgy. Dela Paz — 700
📍 Brgy. San Pablo Libutad — 560
📍 Brgy. San Pablo Propio — 1,500
📍 Brgy. San Isidro — 1,000
📍 Brgy. Sta. Monica — 1,400
📍 Brgy. San Agustin — 620
📍 Brgy. Sto. Niño — 980

Due to flooding, the following areas in San Simon were reported impassable as of 6 p.m. on September 1:

📍 Brgy. San Miguel
📍 Brgy. Concepcion

Residents and motorists were advised to avoid flooded or unsafe roads, follow local government advisories, and prioritize safety while flooding persists.
