Beautéderm CEO Rei Anicoche-Tan’s YES TO LOVE initiative continues to generate support for families affected by the relentless rains and flooding in Pampanga, with her auction of personal and her children’s belongings raising ₱350,000 as of August 30.
Tan said the amount was raised through the auction of her personal items and those of her children, with payments from winning bidders still being completed. She expressed gratitude to everyone who participated, emphasizing that every peso raised will be used to purchase rice and groceries for flood-affected Kapampangan families.
“Ang ganda isipin na you got to take home some beautiful designer pieces, pero higit sa lahat, nakatulong pa kayo sa ating mga kababayan,” Tan said, thanking those who joined the auction, placed bids, and supported the initiative.
The auction featured personal belongings such as bags, shoes, clothes, and items from her children’s collections, with 100 percent of the proceeds earmarked for relief assistance.
Tan also thanked individuals who donated directly, whether through drop-offs at Beautéderm headquarters or through GCash. Donations included food, essential supplies, and other necessities for families affected by the flooding.
Earlier, Tan and her children opened their piggy banks and pooled their savings to purchase groceries for families struggling amid the disaster.
Moved by the continuing impact of the rains, Tan had also appealed for donations of drinking water, ready-to-eat food, rice, hygiene kits, diapers, blankets, towels, and clean clothing, stressing that even small contributions can make a difference when combined.
She expressed appreciation for the many Good Samaritans who shared their blessings and came together to help fellow Kapampangans during the crisis.
Through YES TO LOVE, Tan and her family continue to turn generosity into tangible assistance, demonstrating how personal acts of kindness can provide much-needed support to families facing difficult circumstances.
