The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has partnered with Standard Chartered Bank Philippines to explore innovative and sustainable development opportunities in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga and New Clark City in Tarlac.
The partnership aims to identify potential areas of collaboration and assess strategic projects that could help sustain the development momentum in the two major growth areas.
Under the agreement, both parties will share knowledge, conduct regular discussions, and undertake feasibility evaluations to identify and explore potential project opportunities.
BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang said the partnership represents a strategic step toward strengthening the ecosystem along the Luzon Economic Corridor, with Clark serving as one of its key nodes.
Standard Chartered Bank Philippines CEO Michelangelo Kho Samson welcomed the collaboration, noting that it aligns with the bank’s goal of supporting sustainable infrastructure development in the Philippines.
The partnership highlights the role of private-sector institutions in supporting strategic investments and advancing sustainable development initiatives in Clark and New Clark City.
