Globe Business and Chinabank Savings (CBS) have partnered to make financial services more accessible to public school teachers nationwide by equipping CBS field teams with mobile technology.**

The partnership provides 215 Samsung tablets powered by GPlan Biz, giving CBS field officers reliable connectivity and mobile tools to assist teachers directly at school sites.

With the program implemented across CBS’ 257 branches nationwide, field officers can process non-collateral loans under the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Automatic Payroll Deduction System (APDS), manage customer portfolios, and address queries in real time without requiring educators to visit bank branches.

The mobile setup includes mobile data, unlimited calls and texts, and landline access, helping reduce operational delays and improve service delivery.

Globe Business Vice President Glenn Estrella said technology can help businesses serve customers more efficiently, particularly when services are delivered outside traditional offices.

CBS President James Christian T. Dee, meanwhile, said the field teams play an important role in connecting the bank with the education community, adding that dependable connectivity would help improve access to financial support for teaching and non-teaching personnel.

The collaboration underscores the companies’ shared commitment to supporting educators and communities by using digital tools to deliver faster, safer, and more convenient financial services.

The initiative also comes as the country observes National Teachers’ Month, highlighting practical efforts to support public school educators in their daily financial needs.
