Municipal Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales personally met with the presidents of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Associations (TODA) of Barangays San Carlos and Balas, along with their respective barangay officials, to address a dispute involving passenger loading near Mexico National High School.
During the meeting, Gonzales emphasized the need for a fair solution that would benefit both groups, stressing the importance of reaching a win-win arrangement to prevent further misunderstandings and maintain harmonious relations between the two TODAs.
The two groups eventually agreed to give each other equal opportunities in loading passengers by implementing an alternate-turn system.
The agreement seeks to resolve the issue peacefully and fairly while promoting cooperation among the drivers and operators and ensuring orderly service for passengers in the area.
