The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 extended emergency cash assistance to 1,300 disaster-affected beneficiaries in Apalit, Pampanga on September 22, 2026.

The assistance was distributed through the UPLIFT Assistance – Emergency Cash Transfer for Disaster Victims program during an activity held at the Barangay Balucuc Covered Court.

Each beneficiary received ₱5,400, bringing the total assistance to ₱7.02 million.

The cash aid is intended to help affected families address immediate needs, repair damaged homes and support the recovery of their livelihoods following the disaster.

The initiative is part of the continuing efforts of the DSWD FO3 “Angels in Red Vests” to provide assistance to disaster-affected families and individuals and help them move toward recovery.
