Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II welcomed Dr. Ma. Irelyn P. Tamayo, PhD, CESO V, the new Schools Division Superintendent of the Department of Education (DepEd)–Schools Division of Angeles City, during a courtesy call.

The visit served as an opportunity for Tamayo to introduce herself and strengthen ties between the city government and DepEd.

The partnership aims to support education programs and improve learning opportunities for young Angeleños.

The Angeles City government continues to work with schools and teachers to promote the education, welfare, and future of the city’s youth.
