It’s more than just another store opening—it’s a moment of pride for Pampanga and Angeles City as Wendy’s Philippines marks a major milestone with its 100th branch in the country.
Fittingly, the landmark store rises in Angeles City, a place known for its vibrant culture, dynamic food scene, and strong sense of community—values that mirror the brand’s own journey of growth in the Philippines.

Opened on April 16, the milestone branch signals a fresh chapter for Wendy’s. Breaking away from its signature red, the store introduces a bold blue design—modern, eye-catching, and symbolic of a brand evolving while staying true to its roots.
Leading the celebration was Joey Garcia, President and CEO of Eight8Ate Holdings Inc., alongside APMEA Managing Director Chris Conway and brand ambassador Caprice Cayetano.
For Garcia, the milestone hits close to home. As a proud Kapampangan, he underscored how meaningful it is for Pampanga—particularly Angeles City—to host this historic 100th store. It is, after all, his hometown!
He credited the brand’s steady expansion to its deep connection with local communities, making this achievement a shared success.
Adding a distinct local touch, the store features a hand-painted mural celebrating Angeles City’s iconic landmarks and rich traditions—a visual tribute that roots the global brand firmly in Kapampangan culture.

“The new design of Wendy’s reflects the communities we serve,” Garcia shared, highlighting how the Angeles branch embodies both innovation and local pride.
Conway, meanwhile, reaffirmed Wendy’s commitment to Filipino customers, emphasizing quality, accessibility, and relevance. Guided by its “We don’t cut corners” philosophy, the brand continues to deliver fresh, high-quality food in a welcoming space.
With this milestone, Wendy’s Philippines becomes the third market to reach 100 stores — following Canada and North America — further cementing its strong presence in the global network.
From its first store to its 100th, Wendy’s has built a loyal following in the country, known for its burgers, chicken, fresh salads, signature iced tea, and the well-loved Frosty.
And now, that milestone proudly belongs to Pampanga—where global brands meet local pride, and where yet another chapter in the region’s growing culinary story is written.
