For hundreds of delivery riders and tricycle drivers who spend long hours navigating the streets to earn a living, April 17 became more than just another working day—it became a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

In a heartfelt display of compassion, Beautederm Corporation, led by CEO Rei Anicoche-Tan, rolled out the second wave of its “Byahe Kalinga” initiative, extending free fuel worth P500 and rice assistance to 600 beneficiaries from Angeles City and beyond.
What began as a modest effort reaching 200 individuals has now grown into a wider movement of generosity, fueled by the support of donors and the community. This expansion reflects not only the increasing need among workers on the road, but also the growing spirit of bayanihan that continues to drive the program forward.
Standing alongside Beautederm in this mission is the Rotary Club of Balibago, whose members helped distribute two kilograms of rice to each recipient—simple yet meaningful support that eases the daily burden of putting food on the table.
For Tan, the initiative is deeply personal. She expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who helped turn the vision into reality, acknowledging that every contribution—big or small—helped bring relief to those who need it most.
“Byahe Kalinga” goes beyond providing fuel and food. It is a gesture of solidarity with the hardworking men and women who keep the city moving, rain or shine. It is a quiet but powerful message that in the midst of everyday struggles, kindness still finds its way to the streets.
As engines roared back to life and riders prepared to continue their journeys, they carried with them not just full tanks and provisions—but a renewed sense of hope, driven by a community that refuses to leave them behind.
