The Agana Bailey Bridge is now open to two-way traffic following repairs to its steel deck, easing vehicle movement and improving access for motorists.
Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap said Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon revisited the bridge to inspect the completed rectification works and ensure its quality and safety.
With the repairs completed, motorists can now use both lanes of the bridge, helping improve traffic flow compared with previous days.
Yap, however, urged motorists to remain patient, exercise caution, give way to fellow road users, and observe traffic rules to ensure safe travel.
The mayor thanked the DPWH, Dizon, and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for their continued support and attention to infrastructure improvements aimed at providing safer crossings and reducing traffic congestion in the city.
