Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II congratulated Raymond Manalo of Barangay Pandan for his impressive showing at the 28th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Manalo competed against performers from various parts of the world and brought home multiple honors, including a Gold Medal in Senior Vocals – World, Silver Medal in Senior Vocals – Rock, Bronze Medal in Senior Vocals, Overall Division Champion, and a spot as Semi-Finalist in Senior Vocals.

Mayor Jon praised Manalo for showcasing the talent and determination of an Angeleño on the international stage, saying his achievement serves as an inspiration for fellow residents to nurture their talents and pursue their dreams.

Manalo’s WCOPA feat adds another proud moment for Angeles City as he carries the city’s talent and spirit to the global performing arts scene.
