Angeles City boosts support for farmers through farm inputs distribution

The Local Government Unit of Angeles City, led by Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II, has distributed farm inputs and planting materials to local farmers as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen food security and boost agricultural productivity.

Through the City Agriculture Office, beneficiaries under the Rice Program and High Value Crops Program received various agricultural support materials, including rice seeds, fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, soil enhancers, and other farm inputs aimed at improving yield and production.

The program also included the distribution of 55 crates of planting materials for High Value Crops Program beneficiaries, supporting more sustainable and productive farming practices in local communities.

City officials said the initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Angeles LGU to empower farmers, sustain livelihoods, and strengthen local food production for every Angeleño.
